A Brief About Us
Fox Valley Baptist Church is an independent Baptist church in fellowship with the GARBC located in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. We are a family oriented church that cares for our community. Our goal is that we will help people gain a closer relationship with Jesus Christ and be committed to following Him. On your first visit, expect to meet lots of friendly people that are a wonderful blend of generations, cultures, and life situations, who have come to worship together and study God’s Word.
What is a typical Sunday like?
Our Sunday schedule begins at 9:15 AM for Sunday School, a coffee fellowship in the gym at 10:05 AM, and 10:30 AM for the morning service. While children are welcome to attend worship services, we also offer nursery services and programs for children and students.
Key Questions about Worship
What can I expect at a Sunday service?
The goal of Fox Valley Baptist Church is to encourage a spirit of worship in each service. By using a blended style of worship, using both traditional hymns of the faith and contemporary style worship choruses, we encourage all generations to come together in worship to our God.
What will my children experience while I’m in worship?
Our nursery welcomes birth through two year olds. For children 3-5 years old, we provide an exciting experience every Sunday with an engaging Christian curriculum. Our Jr. Church program meets in our lower fellowship hall for those in K-6th grade.
Key Questions about getting involved
How can I get involved in a ministry?
Come out and express your interest! We are a small church that believes God can do great things even through the weak. We make each other strong and we hope you get that sense of family once you come and serve alongside us.
How can I put in a prayer request?
You can use either the prayer card found on the table in the back of the sanctuary and drop it in an offering plate or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. A prayer e-mail is sent usually once a month or more as the need arises.
